The mod is basically an attempt at a total Conversion mod to try and bring MW2 to COD4 it adds a lot of weapons and a few MW2/BOPS models and combined with the great mod OW 1.6.8.

EMP nade (replaces stun): disables enemy electronics, communications and the hud for 30 seconds. Killstreaks cannot be called in. Also affects enemy equipment including claymores, sentries and SAM launchers. The Tacmask perk will protect the player against its effects.
Semtex: Sticks to all surfaces and players. Not cookable and has a fuse time of 1.8 seconds.
Novagas: creates an area of lethal purple smoke. All players without a Tacmask in its radius are affected but only enemy players are damaged.

Three sniper rifles (Intervention, L96A1 and WA2000) have a silencer attachment available in addition to the scope (no acog). Adding this attachment replaces Perk 1.

New menu OW2 v1.4 by Samuel

The original cod4 menu has been replaced with a menu similar to the OW Custom Class editor. This was done to allow for more loadout options, help with menu asset limitations, and to work with the new custom classes. All changes are automatically saved. Press -accept- to choose the currently selected class.

The 5 ‘default’ and 5 ‘custom’ classes have been replaced with 10 saveable class-based options. There are two each of the five. Two assault, two specops, and so on. Each is limited to the primary weapons of that class. After that any class limitations for perks and killstreaks are at the discretion of the server admin.

Nades, Perks & Killstreaks OW2 v1.4

– Two grenade options: Tactical and Lethal
Tactical nades include Flash, EMP (stun replacement), Smoke and Novagas.
Lethal nades include Frag and Semtex.
-3X Frag- includes Semtex.
-3X Tactical- (Special) includes EMP.

– Perks
-Stealth- ( UAV Jammer ). Player is undetectable to all enemy equipment and air support. Includes heli’s, sentries, and claymores. However firing unsilenced weapons voids Stealth.
-Lightweight- ( Extreme Conditioning ). No fall damage and double sprint time.
-Armor Piercing- ( Deep Impact ). Ignores vehicle armor and player body armor. Note: This perk penetrates armor but does not destroy it. Therefore players without the perk must still overcome the armor.
-Hunter- (Iron Lungs). For snipers. In addition to longer breath the perk adds thermal, zoom and range finder. No Acog. Set thermal toggle in multiplayer options.
-Crossbow- (New perk 1). Includes 10 non-explosive rounds.
-Snatch and Grab- (New perk 2). Increases the players objective secure rate by %50. Includes capturing flags, planting/defusing bombs, and stealing care packages.
-Tacmask- (New perk 3). Protects the player from all tactical nades. Will also protect the player from Novagas strikes. Does not protect against nukes.

Removed from 1.3 – Stinger
Removed from stock – Juggernaut. Marty. Last Stand
Overkill not available at this time. However players may still pick up any dropped weapon.

– Killstreaks
The standard ‘everything goes’ killstreak system has been replaced with three loadout options. Not including any desired class limitations the player can choose any three from the list so long as their kill requirements do not conflict. Streak loadout can be changed while playing just as they are with weapons and perks but will not take effect until the next spawn. They do not stack and streak kills do not count towards streaks.

– Rewards, kills required (x) and descriptions:

-MQ-9 Predator- (3): Stock UAV. In multiplayer games the aircraft is visible and can be shot down.

-RC Bomb- (3): Remote controlled minicar with C4 attached. Speed can be set via dvar and has a default 30 second timer. If it expires the bomb explodes.

-MQ-9 EW- (4): Counter UAV to jam enemy UAV’s for 30 seconds. In multiplayer games the aircraft is visible and can be shot down.

-SAM Turret- (4): Retrieve from a helicopter airdrop and carry to the desired location. Targets all visible air support except airstrikes. It can only be placed once (set ‘place’ in multiplayer options) so set it up in an area with a good view. Default timer 2 minutes and it has unlimited ammo. It can be destoyed by weapon fire and disabled by EMP. Melee is an automatic kill.

-Care Package- (5): Airdropped via helicopter and may contain any killstreak in addition to resupply, body armor and tactical nuke. It can be stolen by any other player but only friendlies knows its contents. It will overwrite any current killstreak the player may have so dont secure it if you want to keep a higher streak. Enemies must take their chances if they already have a streak. Dont stand under it or you will be crushed to death.

-Airstrike- (5): Stock cluster bomb airstrike.

-AGM-114 Hellfire- (5): Flyable missile with 20 seconds of fuel. Press ‘fire’ to lock onto a target area and apply a speed boost. If the fuel runs out the missile explodes.

-Novagas- (5): Blanket the selected area with lethal gas (purple smoke). Affects all players without a Tacmask including friendlies but only damages enemies. So dont call in an attack and rush in unless you like choking. Beware enemies who may also have a mask and are waiting for you to rush in. Timer 20 seconds.

-M5 Sentrygun- (6): Retrieve the sentry from an airdrop and carry it the desired location. Can only be placed once (set ‘place’ in multiplayer options). Default timer 2 minutes. It can be destoyed by weapon fire and disabled by EMP. Melee is an automatic kill.

-Paladin- (6): Launches multiple barrages of long range artillery shells around the targeted area. Area radius can be set via dvar. Good weapon in open areas but not so much in areas surrounded by buildings. Shells fly over the center of the map.

-GBU-24 Paveway- (7): The player is given a visual locator from an orbiting UAV to select up to three targets. If targeted correctly bombs will fly through large openings. Excellent against enemies in protected areas and snipers hiding in buildings. Each fighter will determine its optimal direction and height to attack from. Default timer 30 seconds.

-Helicopter- (8): Stock helicopter streak.

-B2 Spirit- (8): Carpet bomb strike with 10 bombs. Automatically finds the best direction and the target location is the center of the line.

-Escort Chopper- (9): Standard attack chopper but it follows the player. It will continue to follow the player until its timer expires or it is destroyed. If the player dies the escort will remain at its current location until the player respawns.

-AC130 Spectre- (11): Long range gunship with 3 weapons. Can only be shot down by SAMs. Default timer 30 seconds.

-Hammer- (11): Pavelow helicopter with three minigun player turrets to choose from (both sides and rear door). It can be shot down by direct fire, rockets and SAMs. When activated it makes two passes diagonally through the center of the map.

-Mininuke- (11): Dropped by a B2 and explodes above the target area. All enemies within the inner 1/2 blast radius are dead. Enemies in the outer 1/2 suffer varying degrees of damage. All players not killed by the blast including friendlies suffer temporary radiation effects. Duration depends on distance from the blast. Obstructions block damage but not radiation effects. Its a nuke after all.

Additional Care Package options:
-Ammo Resupply- : Full ammo loadout for bullet weapons and replenishes lethal nades to their starting loadout amounts. No tactical nades or explosives/rockets.
-Body Armor- : Destroyable armor equal to maximum player health. Absorbs all damage points from bullets (including headshots) and explosives until it is depleted. However attackers with the Armor Piercing perk ignore all body armor. Only 1/2 protection against falls.
-Tactical Nuke- : Game over, man. Its game over.

Notes and known beta issues

Current xmodel count less than 1.3 but is likely to change. But when finalized it will not be more than 1.3
Weapon file limitations are the same as 1.3
Fastfile size is a bit larger. Still working to see if that can be reduced.
Larger IWD sizes are being addressed to optimize as much as possible.
New menu is not yet properly formatted on non-widescreen monitors (assumes 16:9 – e.g. 1440×900).
Some new hud elements may not be properly hidden in some circumstances.
Some local strings might be missing.
When the screen fades to black on streak activation sometimes the view model is not %100 hidden.
Care package needs added checks to make sure the drop point is fully open from above. So take care where you throw the marker.
Novagas drop area may not be exact on elevated or sunken areas. Stock airstrikes do not adequately check for terrain and adjust flight path height.
EMP does not disable electronic sights for acog and rds. No known way to do this yet.
Some notify and dialog sounds may be incorrect or not yet available.
SAM accuracy may be reduced when the target is directly above the launcher.
UAV/CounterUAV may roll the wrong way when turning on some maps.
Map ‘centers’ based on play area may be incorrect on some SP-based maps (Bog and others).
RC Bomb does not show sparks when hit by weapon fire.
MP player -hitbox- is still present on RC Bomb but does not respond to damage. Adding custom hitboxes for players seem to be ignored.
Blinking light fx on RC Bomb moves around while it is moving, amount depending on speed.
Stealth strike needs more accurate -inbound your position- areas.
Hardpoints do not have their own obituary icons. At this time most use the deathhead.
In FFA games enemies do not see care package waypoints.
Escort chopper needs better AI for deciding which way to point while hovering. At this time it uses player look-at when updating positions.
Turrets on Pavelow do not follow heli look-at when it turns around. Game ‘link’ limitations in MP. Switch turrets after turning around to reset.
